We are 3 young women graduated from the 3A International Business School for Trade and Development of Lyon in France (www.ecole3a.edu). During our itinerary we specialized in the Asian and South American continents. This training also gave us several opportunities to experience different sectors dealing with development: Fair Trade, sustainable tourism, microfinance, social entrepreneurship…
When we travel, we like to meet people and discover the local culture. The problem is that today mass tourism does not benefit enough to local people and does not always allow tourists to travel that way. Though, we truly believe that another type of tourism is possible. That is why we set up the VESTA Project that aims to promote sustainable and responsible tourism.
Regarding to us, tourism should generate greater economic benefits for local people and enhance the well-being of host communities.
For the purpose of the VESTA Project we are now travelling around Asia (India, Nepal, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia) during 7 months along several existing projects focused on sustainable tourism.
Our leitmotiv : interest for other cultural practices, Corporate Social Responsbility (CSR) and sustainable initiatives
Our Vision of Ethical and Sustainable Tourism
Responsible Tourism creates better places for people to live in, and better places to visit…
